[Focus On] CSRD
The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) has been applicable since 1 January 2024. It will gradually require companies to publish an annual sustainability report as tangible proof of their actions towards sustainable transitions.
The CSRD will gradually replace the non-financial statement (DPEF) to broaden its scope and cover companies with more than 250 employees and all listed companies, i.e. 50,000 European companies.
Apave, a risk management player and trusted third-party organisation, has all the expertise you need to help you implement the regulatory requirements of the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) with a pragmatic, operational and concrete approach.
Whatever stage you are at in your process, Apave's teams can assist you before, during and after the implementation of your CSRD project.
How can we decarbonise to meet the challenges of sustainability?

GHG emissions assessment:
Apave support:
- Assess your GHG emissions (within the regulatory framework, using a Carbon Footprint®, ISO or tailor-made assessment, outside the regulatory framework)
- Develop your low-carbon strategy and/or aim for carbon neutrality
- Evaluate your low-carbon strategy (ACT = Accessing low Carbon Transition)
[Focus On] Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Assessment
Discover how Apave helped a hospital move towards a more sustainable future. Our Climate and Sustainability consultants carried out a comprehensive carbon assessment of its value chain. This analysis enabled us to accurately identify its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, providing the basis for the development of an effective and targeted transition plan.
How can we preserve natural resources in the face of sustainability challenges?

[Focus On] Polluted Sites and Soils
Apave supports you in your soil pollution management efforts in the context of construction (building permits), renovation, business development, sale/acquisition or in a regulatory context (ICPE). We use a range of techniques:
- Off-site treatment of contaminated soil: excavated soil is transported to a treatment centre for incineration, landfill, biological treatment or physical-chemical washing.
- On-site treatment of contaminated soil: washing, thermal desorption or containment.
- Extraction of pollutants and on-site treatment, for example by venting, biostimulation, technical treatment, phytoremediation.
How can you engage and retain your teams in the face of sustainability challenges?

The Apave team dedicated to the QWL approach offers you a comprehensive overview of health and quality of life issues in the workplace, providing you with tools and levers for action. To do this, the team offers to help you:
- Define and implement your QWL project (or policy)
- Negotiate a QWL agreement or certification
- Facilitate your QWL initiatives (discussion groups, team-building workshops, alignment of attitudes, etc.)

In line with the regulatory framework, Apave combines QWL with an intervention approach based on the following levers:

[Focus On] Quality of Life at Work
Apave is firmly committed to supporting you in ensuring safety and improving quality of life and working conditions: our consulting, measurement and training services, as well as our digital solutions, are tailored to your context and challenges.
There is a direct link between health at work and quality of life at work. Although sometimes considered separately, the concepts of Health and Safety at Work (HSW) and Quality of Life and Working Conditions (QLWC) are interdependent. They contribute to the same objective: combining sustainable improvement in employee well-being with overall company performance.
